Meet Alana

Hi all! My name is Alana - I'm a wife, mom, and believer.

6 years ago, at the age of 22, I was working my first job as a registered nurse. I had worked so hard to get my degree, but once I started working in my field, I was so unhappy. I started asking God for direction and to help me find my purpose.

I battled for a long time on whether or not nursing was for me. I felt like I would be disobeying God if I were to leave, but working as nurse left me with so much dread and anxiety. I didn't know what to do.

So, I stayed. I stayed until I had the peace of moving on.

I found things I'm good at - gifted at. I discovered gifts, talents, and skills that God has gifted me with. I find joy in my hobbies. Everything that I've been through in life is all a part of my journey.

Here I am at 29 - married, a mom, and growing in my walk with Jesus Christ. I no longer work as a registered nurse, and I am 100% at peace with the decision I've made to leave the profession.

My biggest desire is to help save souls - nothing else is more important to me. But I have other desires too - desires that I believe are God-given. To see people be their best self, living their best life. To see people take care of their mental health. To see people in relationship with Christ.

I believe God wants us to take care of ourselves so that we can in turn, help take care of others.
